Seasonal Treatments

These include targeted treatments recommended for specific needs depending on the season.

SUMMER HYDRA

It is recommended after the summer holidays and combines mild chemical exfoliation, soothing of skin irritated by sun exposure, and intensive hydration.

MOMMY

It is designed to meet the skin’s needs during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The main principle of the treatment is the strict selection of cosmetic products to ensure they are fully compatible with and safe for both pregnancy and breastfeeding.

RECOVERY PERIOD

It is essential after invasive treatments such as Fractional lasers, aggressive chemical peels, or for skin that has been affected by medical treatments and improper use of cosmetic products.
The aim of the treatment is to soothe and restore balance to the skin’s hydrolipid barrier, pH, and microbiome, allowing it to recover faster and without marks.

SKIN DESENSITIZATION TREATMENT

Skin desensitization is a specialized and personalized aesthetic treatment, carefully designed to soothe, hydrate, and strengthen the skin barrier in sensitive / hypersensitive skin.

It is recommended for skin that shows inflammation, intense chronic or occasional irritation, and redness caused by various factors such as rosacea, severe dehydration, use of unsuitable cosmetic products, or a compromised skin barrier. Some of the symptoms of sensitized / hypersensitive skin include:

  • Skin with a tight feeling and persistent redness
  • Burning or itching sensation
  • Sensitivity to temperature changes
  • Low tolerance or strong reactions even to hypoallergenic cosmetic products
  • Irritation even after a few minutes of sun exposure
  • Acne

The aim of the skin desensitization treatment is to address these symptoms, restore the skin’s natural balance, and improve its overall condition.

The treatment is also recommended for individuals with chronic dermatological conditions (e.g. seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, eczema, etc.) who are also seeking anti-aging and/or hydrating treatments without worsening their existing skin issues. It is often used as an “after-sun” treatment as well, as it provides deep hydration and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. At the same time, it is suitable for individuals whose skin has been “stressed” due to environmental factors such as exposure to air pollution or extreme temperatures (heat/cold), unhealthy lifestyle habits (e.g. smoking, lack of sleep, poor diet), or even hormonal changes.

Sessions may include cleansing, the use of specialized moisturizing, emollient, and soothing products—dermatologically tested and carefully selected by our clinic, Spiliopoulos Plastic Surgery Clinic, for their safety and effectiveness on sensitive / hypersensitive skin—as well as face and neck masks.

In most cases, when the recommended treatment plan is properly followed, there is a complete resolution of symptoms. Additionally, personalized consultation is provided by the specialized scientific staff of Spiliopoulos Plastic Surgery Clinic for at-home skincare, helping the skin respond effectively to daily challenges and preventing flare-ups of sensitivity / hypersensitivity.
