How Deep Cleansing Works
Facial cleansing is the first step in skincare and the foundation of healthy skin. It is essential for removing excess sebum and environmental pollutants that can leave the face looking dull and tired.
It helps makeup products apply more easily and effectively, while also allowing the active ingredients in skincare products to penetrate deeper into the skin layers, ensuring maximum effectiveness.
It is suitable for both men and women of all ages, as sebum production and external factors that can affect the healthy appearance of the skin apply to everyone.
The Treatment Procedure
Initially, impurities and makeup are removed using a specialized cleansing product and a gentle exfoliant. Then, depending on the skin’s needs, one or a combination of the following methods is selected: (a) steam, (b) microdermabrasion, (c) ultrasound, (d) acids, in order to soften the skin.
This is followed by the extraction of sebum, performed by the aesthetician using specialized techniques and sterile tools.
The procedure concludes with antibacterial protection and the application of soothing and healing dermocosmetic products.
The treatment takes place in the aesthetics department of our clinic and is offered in two versions: a mini session lasting 45 minutes and a more extensive session lasting two hours, intended for skin with excessive sebum production.
Deep medical cleansing is essential before any other medical or aesthetic treatments, as it forms the foundation of proper skincare. Combining it with other treatments such as mesotherapy, diamond microdermabrasion and peelings, among others, further maximizes the expected results.
